One of the things I realized the first time we went camping that cooking in the outdoors was very different from being in the comfort of your own kitchen. You had to make sure that you packed everything and missing one ingredient or cooking utensil would make the difference between following the meal you planned and improvising with something else.

But just because we’re in a less familiar environment doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy food. In fact, there are tons of delicious camping recipes available. Here are some of the best recipes for camping you can try out the next time you take a trip.
